What can you get done with a full time team of nine and 20-30 talented contractors? A lot, it turns out.

In 2024, we published almost 300 original articles exploring what comes next to over 85,000 subscribers like you.

And we didn’t just write about what comes next—we built it, too: We launched three new software products—Spiral, Cora, and Sparkle—that use AI to help you work better, think more clearly, and create more effectively.

Last but not least, we had a lot of fun. When you get to think about (and build) the future every day with a multidimensional crew of writers, editors, programmers, designers—and readers like you—it’s hard not to.

For our final post of 2024 we wanted to share a few numbers that reflect the many different ways we’ve tried to explore what comes next and the journey that it’s taken us on.

Together, we’re building something new and special at the intersection of media and technology. 2024 was an important step for us—but it’s just the beginning.

See you in 2025.
