It’s a new era at Every, and we needed a central question to organize around. We think that “What comes next?” is the most important of our time.

Why now?

We’ve been in business since 2020. Since then we’ve:

1. Published 1,500 essays from some of the smartest collection of business and technology writers in the world
2. Reached almost 4,000 paid subscribers, $60,000 in monthly recurring revenue (MRR), and more than $3 million in total revenue 
3. Incubated three software products
4. Launched popular courses on topics like writing, programming, and psychology
5. Built a full-time team of seven people

But over the past four years, we’ve never really been able to describe what Every covers. When we started it was a bundle of newsletters, but now it’s a single publication. We’ve made attempts here and there, but it was mostly just a vibe. 

We think this central question encapsulates the spirit of curiosity and ambition that we try to bring to the world every day.
