Introducing: Mindful Values
A new course on connecting to what matters in work—and life
Hey!
Big news! We’re excited to announce the launch of a new course: Mindful Values.
It’s an eight-week, live online course designed to help you connect with what truly matters in your life and take action toward your purpose.
It’s taught by Every writer Casey Rosengren, who you’ll probably recognize from some of his recent posts:
- How to do hard things
- How to live by your values this year
- Tactical mindfulness
- How to break the anxiety-fear-avoidance cycle
(Casey will also be writing a new column for us—No Small Plans—which will explore what it means to live well and do work that matters. Look out for the first column in two weeks.)
If you’re interested in the course, sign up now! You can use the coupon EARLYBIRD to get $100 off the $675 list price if you sign up by Sunday.

About Mindful Values
Many of us live our lives on autopilot, as if we have an infinite amount of time to do the work we care about and connect with those we love.
However, we never know how much time we or our loved ones have left—and it often takes a loss or major crisis for us to step back and reflect on how we're choosing to live.
This course—Mindful Values—is about how to consistently live with meaning and intentionality, even outside of times of crisis.
The course combines evidence-based practices from mindfulness and Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACT) to help you:
- Clarify and discover your values, so you can gain a greater sense of meaning in your life
- Notice what hard stuff comes up as you start to move toward what you care about
- Learn how to hold suffering without getting knocked off course, so you can keep moving toward what matters
- Connect your day-to-day to what you most want for your life, so you can contact meaning in the here and now
- Test new and concrete ways to live out your values in day-to-day life
By the end of the course, you'll have a clearer sense of what matters most to you and a set of practical tools to help you embody that more fully in how you choose to live.
What makes this course truly unique is that it takes a building-blocks approach to meaning-making that comes from basic science about how thoughts and feelings influence behavior. There are more than 1000 randomized-controlled trials showing the effectiveness of ACT, and the principles behind it are woven into every session of the course.
Unlike traditional therapy—which tends to focus on problems and alleviating suffering—and mainstream coaching—which tends to lack evidence-based theories of change—this course is specifically designed to help you pinpoint and work through the blocks that prevent you from consistently living out your values and connecting with meaning in your daily life.
Mindful Values is a first-of-its-kind program, and is limited to only 30 participants. We want to ensure that you receive personalized attention and support throughout the program, so we’ll be keeping the group small and intimate.
The course will meet live on Zoom at 6 p.m. EST on Tuesdays, February 21 through April 4. We will also host a mini-virtual retreat on Sunday, March 26, from 4 p.m.-7:30 p.m. EST.
The full price of the eight-week course is $675, and we’re offering a $100 early-bird discount if you sign up by Sunday with the promo code “EARLYBIRD.”
We expect spots to fill quickly, so if you're interested, make sure to sign up early so you don’t miss out:
