# Dejargonify

Review the target text without changing its meaning, factual claims, structure, or voice more than necessary.

## Three-pass review

1. **Remove jargon.** Find technical terms, insider language, abstractions, and unnecessarily formal wording. Suggest familiar, non-technical alternatives that remain accurate. Keep a specialized term when replacing it would lose important meaning; explain it plainly instead.
2. **Tighten.** Remove repetition, throat-clearing, filler, needless qualifiers, and wordy constructions. Prefer direct sentences and specific verbs. Preserve necessary context and nuance.
3. **Read for flow.** Read the entire text as a whole. Look for awkward transitions, uneven pacing, unclear references, repeated ideas, and sentences or paragraphs that arrive in the wrong order. Suggest only refinements that materially improve the reading experience.

## Output

Combine the useful findings from all three passes into one final bulleted list. Do not organize the response into separate pass-by-pass sections.

For each suggested edit:

- Quote the relevant original wording briefly.
- Give the proposed replacement or describe the structural change.
- Add a concise reason when the benefit is not self-evident.

Order the bullets as the issues appear in the target text. Omit passages that do not need revision. If nothing needs changing, say so plainly instead of inventing edits.
